Sometimes when we are in a creative or other kind of rut, trying a “little bit of new” is more effective than thinking we will effect change all at once.
So often when talking to friends or family who ask, “So what did you do this weekend?” my response is “I just stayed home.” Why do I feel the need to add just, I wonder? Almost always, I wanted to be at home, doing routine things, but I also suspect that it sound very boring to most people.
