“I always decide in advance what I am going to do with my week. These decisions look different at different times of year, but what matters is that when it comes to my schedule, I’m in charge.” ~ Cal Newport
To wrap up our focus on goals, today I want to direct you to the latest blog post from Cal Newport, who writes in “Deep Habits: Plan Your Week in Advance,” “On Monday mornings I plan the upcoming work week. I capture this plan in an e-mail and send it to myself so that I will be sure to see it and have access to it daily.”“I always decide in advance what I am going to do with my week. Cal’s Study Hacks blog is always a rich source of resources and ideas. Rather than Monday morning, you might find, as I do, that the weekend works better for mapping out the days ahead. The practice of emailing ourselves notes and reminders, especially at the end of the day, is an excellent way to keep those thoughts front and center the next morning.
