Peace Conference Opening
6:30 p.m. our time
time out there was 4:30 p.m.
46 nations represented
3200 people
or more
Chairman Stettinius
introduced President Truman
then Governor Warner
spoke a few words
on the sorrow of our nation
for loss of President
Franklin Delano Roosevelt
and outlined main points
Got cobs and meals
wrote letters and in diary
Will gave cattle hay
painted east side of room
and looked at cows
on state land
