What books and stories from childhood are still written on your heart today?
I can’t imagine what my childhood would have been like or who I would be today without books. The stories and characters of my latter grade school years are written forever on my heart.
That’s why I am honored and thrilled to be part of a new venture: Emblazon.
Emblazon is a group of authors–some indie, some traditionally published–who have each produced at least one children’s novel. Our audiences range from fifth grade to young adult, but we have a particular focus on ages 11 to 14, also known as middle grade, low young adult, and tweens, those crucial years when books are often a child’s best friend. For more thoughts on why tween lit is so exciting and important, read Emblazon’s inaugural blog post, written by author Michelle Isenhoff: “What Characterizes Tween Literature?”
Also, be sure to visit our Launch Giveaway page for a chance to win signed paperback copies and ebooks of a variety of stories written by our authors! Please share our giveaway with anyone who enjoys a great tween read.
